Today's woman, and the crises of personality

In the pre-Islamic history of Arabs, there is a very dreadful record of the cruelty towards women; girls were buried alive, for the sham of their marriage to others, since they reckoned this a sign of shame to their families and tribes. The emerge of Islam in the Arab countries significantly changed the status of Arab women, and the Arab women whose merely existence as a daughter or a sister had become a sign of sham in the society, promoted to the status of a leader and a teacher in different fields of life.

Muslim women enjoyed the dignity her religion provided her, for centuries till local cultures gradually overwhelmed the Islamic instructions, and the Muslims returned to their old costumes and beliefs.

At that time west was in its darkest ages and the western women was dwelling the hardest life being the addressee of lordly cruelty of men.

The subsequent generations in the east couldn’t preserve the security and dignity that Islam has provided to women kind in the east. The Islamic approach towards women's statues was gradually affected by the local customs and cultures in different parts of the Islamic World, and consequently, the unique Islamic culture was fractioned to parts according to people's cultural and custom-based interpretation of Islam. Women's social statues was gradually returning to what came to be similar to that of pre-Islamic era in the east. The more the Muslims distanced from their believes and the original sources of their divine religion, the more divide of cultures and customs happened, and that steadily leaded to the loss of stability and cultural consistency across the Islamic world.  

The Mongolian invasion and the fall of Baghdad, resulted in the destruction of the gigantic heritage of the humanity as they burnt  millions of books; the big treasure of knowledge the Muslims rulers and scholars, had collected in their capital, in several centuries. Hence, was the beginning of lose.
Islamic Rule was never preserved again, and by this, the eastern women, lost the big support that the Islamic judiciary whatever it had provided for her, after that the people of the east has gradually followed the footprints of their ancestor before Islam, as they returned to their old habits.

But what cannot be contradicted is that, the western civilization, and the chain of revolutions that affected all sides of life, in west did much to safeguard the humanity from the worse effects of the destruction of the Islamic civilization. It did much, but never felt to be enough. It came with its own short-comings. Womanhood achieved freedom, but "was the freedom all and everything women needed?  Did anyone think about the security women actually needed? And were she ever secure? Is the security of body from injuries enough for a human, or there is something else some other sides that can get deeper injuries, that is called the spirit? Haven’t the eyes played the rule of the hand in bothering the woman? Was the personality of the women always been respected?  There was a time when need for having a strong personality was felt less, since everyone lived in his separate worlds, as people lived in farms, and places far away from other. But today's human needs to have a respected personality.
In a time, when the need for having a strong personality increases, women’s personality faces more challenges than ever. With the so called unbounded freedom, woman came out as a toy or doll in the hands of children, as a show-piece in the scenes of the media, Whatever brilliant leader she was or however expert and talent she has been, but people only talked about her height, shortness, blackness and whiteness of skin, color of hair, and the size of breasts.  I say this about the women in the society and public scenes, not in the special yards or palaces. It is shameful, for even hearing about it; the MTV, the NTV, the tens of thousands of the porn sites on the internet.
Family has gone towards destruction and the trustworthiness between pairs remains merely a dream. There is a big propaganda for women's freedom, but so little is said about a divorced or office-dedicated woman who has no more a family, the family which is the basis from where the building of the society will raise.
They also raise their voices for afghan women, the women whose freedom was deemed as important, but her life and household was cheaper than a collation soldier's bullet seeking a terrorist in the darkness of Afghanistan nights.

Let's not repeat the stereotype and boring slogans of today and yesterdays conquerors, and politicians.. Let’s only think about our needs and vital necessities, only for our daily life, not even tomorrow that some may reckon it the job of the tomorrow peoples.
Let’s give the women her personality and status, affirming the reality that the relation between man and women is based on bilateral needs of both to each others, within the limits of their nature.
Let’s tell women; our sisters, our mother and our friend, to discover herself, her statues and to respect her personality and to oppose those who have used her everywhere; from a simple business ad to a great political scene and  who want to link her fate to the fate of conquers.  Conquerors have always been temporary, however they last, but woman's relation to her son, her husband, and her spirit is eternal absolute.
